Republican Voting Fraud in Florida

The original tables on Republican voting fraud in Florida included only the 54 counties in that state who tracked both the over-votes and under-vote in the November 7th election. Remarkably, 13 of the 67 counties did not track the over and under vote. Since my original posting, I discovered I had downloaded a November 21st, 2000 table from the Orlando Sentinel showing the uncounted voted for all 67 counties.

Table 1 is a modified version of a table from CNN/AP showing vote totals in 54 of the 67 Florida counties reporting overvotes and undervotes combined with the Orlando Sentinel data showing only the total of the uncounted votes in each of the 67 counties. I have added on a Column 16 showing the total presidential vote for Bush, Gore and all other candidates. Table 1 shows that almost 180,000 Floridians did not have their votes counted, almost 3 percent of the total. Several Florida counties had undercounts of almost ten per cent. Many California counties also use punch card ballots which are centrally counted. The percentage of the undervote is these California counties in the November 7th, 2000 election was less than 1%, usually around 0.75% to 0.8%.

Table 2 is a sort of Table 1 by voting method and vote counting method. Where the percentage of uncounted, under-counted, or over-counted votes is greater than 1%, the numbers have been shown in bold.

Table 3 combines an extract from Table 2 with an Orlando Sentinel table showing voter intent in the 15 counties using optical scan votes centrally counted. It is apparent the Orlando Sentinel selected the 15 counties where the percentages of overvotes and undervotes were high.
